# Choose Your Workflow
This page helps you pick the right Evidano workflow. Answer two quick questions — what data do you have, and what do you want to end up with? — then follow the link that matches. You don't need to learn all eight workflows. You only need the one that fits your project today.
Every workflow starts from a button on your account page. To get there from anywhere, click **Dashboard** in the top navigation, then **Launch Evidano**.

Some goals use options inside a workflow, or combine two workflows:
* **Compare groups** (departments, regions, before and after) — use [segment](/ailyze-docs/reference/glossary.md#segment) comparison inside document or spreadsheet analysis. See [Compare groups and segments](/ailyze-docs/analyze-data/compare-groups-segments.md).
* **Work with data in several languages** — translate first, or ask for results in your language. See [Analyze multilingual data](/ailyze-docs/common-research-workflows/analyze-multilingual-data.md).
* **Turn a finished analysis into a deliverable** — download a report, write an executive summary, or share a web page. See [Create Deliverables](/ailyze-docs/create-deliverables.md).
## How workflows connect
Workflows hand off to each other, so a full project often uses two or three in a row. Two common paths:
* **Interview research:** record interviews → **Transcribe Audio/Video** → **Analyze docx/pdf files** → download your report.
* **Survey research:** **Create Survey** → collect responses → **Analyze xlsx/csv files** → compare segments → share your findings.
You move between steps with built-in [handoff](/ailyze-docs/reference/glossary.md#handoff) buttons. For example, a finished transcription project has an **Analyze transcripts** button that takes you straight into document analysis.

## Two things to know before you start
1. **Most analysis runs in the background.** After you click **Create Project and Start Analysis**, you can leave the page — Evidano emails you when the results are ready, and your project list shows live status. See [How to read your results](/ailyze-docs/analyze-data/how-to-read-your-results.md) for what you'll find when it finishes, and [Analysis issues](/ailyze-docs/troubleshooting/analysis-issues.md) if it seems stuck.
2. **Some features are Pro or pay-as-you-go.** The Free plan runs real analyses but is limited to **1 theme and 1 question** per analysis. Transcription, translation, and web data each have a free allowance, then charge per use. See [Plans, Limits & Credits](/ailyze-docs/reference/plans-limits-and-credits.md).
